Camping at Gola
IMPORTANT INFORMATION. In order to prevent any negative impacts on the park and to ensure availability for all guests, visitors are required to make an advanced booking prior to their trip to arrange for permits, food, lodge accommodation, camping equipment and guides. All visitors must hold a valid entrance permit before entering the park and on all camping trips must be accompanied by a member of staff and Community Guide.
We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Camping trips can be arranged on the request. All camping trips include tents, foam mattresses, sheets and pillowcases (though you must provide the pillow). If you get cold easily, you should bring your own blanket or sleeping bag. Tents can be provided by park staff and sleep two people each. However, if you bring your own tent, there is a small discount.
All camping trips include food, which is shared with the guides. The menu usually consists of local food and an assortment of crackers, biscuits and hot drinks. If you have any food allergies or are a vegetarian, please inform your guide before your tour so that the guide can make the necessary substitution.
There are several camping sites in both Gola Central and Gola South and our guides will be happy to advise on the best spots depending on the details of your trip.
